So I can't get up the muster to watch Heroes in any kind of urgency. I still have one episode on my DVR with a new episode coming in tonight. Two years ago, that would never happen, we would watch with baited breath every Monday night and talk about it at our Arts Breakfast the next day (except for Bill Carroll, who would close his ears because his wife ruled the DVR on Monday nights and he had to wait until Tuesday).
Now, the show that has me that intrigued is Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. What started as a struggling knockoff of the films has developed into a very interesting bit of science fiction. Lots of believable intrigue in a storyline that is as complicated as Heroes, but evolved in a much more entertaining fashion. And the commentary it provides with regards to human interaction and how machines can/or cannot emulate these things is very fun to watch.
I guess my closet-geek-ness is totally out. Oh well. Beam me up.
