The pop culture was poppin' with energy after last night's prank of Eminem by Bruno (aka Sasha Baron Cohen). If you don't know what I'm talking about, well, I'm not going to go into details because I don't want to be known as the pastor who described it. You know how those crazy websites can be with their monikers. Two years ago I was the "knocked up pastor" for mentioning the movie once on my blog. nice.
But here's my question: Was it a real prank or was it staged, with Eminem's knowledge? I'm not entirely sure, but I do know this: Eminem is actually a good actor, as evidenced in 8 Mile. (the 8 Mile pastor?) And look at the photo below: Everyone surrounding them is looking up at Bruno. Including Eminem, the good actor. But where are the bodyguards looking? Right at Eminem. So in my mind, one of two possible scenarios exists: 1) everyone was in on it, or 2) only his crew was in on it, and they were as interested in seeing him pranked as anyone else. Either way, it's definitely accomplished the number one goal of all of this, including the entire MTV Movie Awards themselves: PUBLICITY.
