That's just so stupid. While I appreciate a missional approach - to denigrate scripture to what you guys do is just dumb.

Yeah I know I'll be labeled all fundie and stuff - truth is, I'm anything but fundie. But when you take scripture and make satire out of it, that's where I draw the line.

Here you make fun of the first human murder on earth. Forget about the implications and ramifications, let's entertain the masses.

How I would love to see the US church simply grow up. Instead of focussing on so called "big idea" marketing driven crap - how about focussing on truth.

I've read the Big Idea book and I see this as another example of what happens when business/marketing methods take over what's implied on scripture.

"Also that the blood of all the prophets, shed from the foundation of the world, may be charged against this generation, from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who perished between the altar and the sanctuary. Yeah but you guys take this ever so lightly don't you. It's all about entertainment and a polished production goo enough to post on YouTube.

I wonder how Abel will feel.
