No A-eye Yet
Haven't watched American Idol yet, not sure when it'll happen. We're planning the Big Idea for the whole year today, and someone who is awesome gave me three sets of tickets to see the Cubs all this week, all at the same time while my living room fireplace wall is being re-drywalled and drastically altered. So needless to say, I'm a little bit goofy. Heard that it was kind of boring though. I think that the #1 show may be losing it's edge. Feel free to comment and let me know your thoughts.

They each had to sing 3 songs last night, which end up being 3 really short songs. Archuleta's got a GREAT voice, but doesn't seem like THE Idol to me so my Top 2 vote is for Syesha & David Cook. Although, judges were unusually hard on Syesha last night.

Whoa, those Idol voters must be in quite a quandry. How will they choose between boring and boring? Eric, if you haven't watched it yet, don't bother.

I haven't watched yet either as I was freezing to death at a Cougar's game Tuesday and enjoying a performance of "Wicked" with my son's middle school choir last night. I did vote for Cook as many times as I could in a half hour.

Maybe, if he wins (from votes cast by someone who didn't watch?), David C. can afford to buy some clothes that fit him well. That first jacket he wore on Monday looked like a dry-clean-only that had gone through the washer on hot then dried on high. Poor guy. Okay Eric, I lied. You missed that. Oh, and Syesha danced with a chair--but that was a wasted and weird tactic. From karaoke to cabaret.

I thought all three of David Cook's performances rocked. The middle one, which was "Dare you to move" by Switchfoot was just really good. Part of it is that that is such a powerful song, but he had so little time.
I thought David A was strong on all 3. But it made me bored me to death.
I thought Syesha's first performance was so ridiculously predictable. Her middle one was not appropriate....AI is a family show!!! Her last one....well...I can't remember it. Ha ha.....I think that says it all. I do think Syesha deserved to go.

I did watch Cook's last song but I wouldn't vote for Archuletta no matter what. He is boring and the "Oh gosh you're here for me" attitude is really annoying. It's like we have Melinda back only it's a boy and he's 17. Get over it Archie! And seriously, who would buy his record???

Good pooint pat. All he does is annoy the crap out of me. There are 4 bagillion teenage girls (and I'm not one of them), who would buy his cd. Its only cuz they think he's cute....but he's not.
And the attitude is annoying. Melinda must have met her long lost brother....

Dad was changing our DVR to record an HD channel and accidentally erased the results show. We got home and watched the last 15 minutes--which was just enough time to see Syesha go. Thought she should have been long gone before now! We don't vote--so guess we don't really care who wins. I like little David's voice better--but, like someone said--who'd buy his CDs?

I voted for DC 78 times. Yup, I'm an AI dork. Texting is just too easy. It's a DA & DC finale. DC *should* win, but I think DA will will instead. sigh. whatev.

I sure hope you're blogging about the finale soon. Archie must go! I thought he was bad. My son has texting on his phone plan so I had him text for an hour and a half till bed time for Cook
