Biblically accurate?
I'm currently working on a video for Kids' City where we take a Bible story and tell it a la the Fandango paper bag puppets. Its gonna be goofy for sure, it's in a series called "family feud" and we're calling it "feud-dango."
The guy who is working with me on building the puppets just questioned a costume idea (for one of the sack lunch paper bag puppets) on the grounds that it might not be "biblically accurate." Ummmmm...
I will not tell you who said that, or even that his name starts with the initials "Bret" and ends in the initials "Koontz." It's a learning process, my young padawan...

I just hope you're not planning to have the paper bag puppets part the Red Sea! Imagine the look on the kids faces as the puppets get soggy and fall apart in pieces!

Paperbag puppets are not "biblically accurate".
Umm.....call me crazy, but they're paperbag puppets!!!
Though, I do like Pat's idea of the parting of the Red Sea. Maybe you could do a follow up with 3 paperbag puppets names Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and them trying to....
Er - never mind.

Paper bag puppets parting the Red Sea would be safer for them than getting close to a burning bush. What's that you say? They're not real??? Ooops.
