Some might be curious as to my lack of posts over the last couple weeks. Been kinda busy what with Christmas, the Audible series, and a short film we shot last week in Chicago. The latter is something I'm really excited about. Not that I'm not excited about Christmas. Or Audible. Anyway, in January, CCC will begin a series called "Revolutionaries", and for the first time ever, we're creating a short film to coincide with the series and act as a companion piece to each week's content.
The film is called "I Will Follow", and is based on a one-act play that I wrote several years ago that was produces at CCC for a leadership conference. It was when we were first rolling out the "3Cs"... Celebrate, Connect and Contribute. The play imagined what would happen if John Wimber, John Wesley, and Jim Elliot hungout in a purgatory-esque bar and got to know each other.
The film does the same thing, (and adds Elisabeth Elliot in the mix) and last week, we shot it over three days in a beautiful space in Chicago. It was really fun to be able to make it happen. Of course, now we have to edit it, but still, it's very exciting! Here are some pics of the shoot... Stay tuned for more details about the independent film "I Will Follow", coming to a CCC near you in January!
